Bond Auctions: 1/10/11 and beyond

10 Jan

There’s going to be a lot of auction activity this week across most of the entire yield curve. Today we kick off the week with a 13 & 26 week bill auction.

The remainder of the week sees a 3Y note, 52 and 4 week bill auctions as well at a 10Y reopening (912828PC8) and a 30Y reopening to round off the week. I’ve been keeping tabs on the last 10 auctions and provide a handy reference to look at the last 10 auctions with selected statistics for your review. Also I have included (improved) charts of Indirect Bidders/Bid To Cover for all auctions across the entire spectrum. As usual, if there’s anything amiss – let me know and I will correct them. Hope you find this useful.

If the embedded page doesn’t appear below, you can click here to download manually. Note: Apparently the default Google docs uses IFrames which are not allowed on WP. Looking into an alternative, however you can still view the doc by clicking on the link. Thanks for your patience.

(Earlier I had incorrectly posted there was a 10Y TIPS auction. Was looking at a rather outdated calendar – The new sheet is updated with 2 changes, one for the TIPS auction and a 4 week auction scheduled for later in January. Also, the stats/charts are updated with today’s bill auction.)
